It is no wonder that considering the varied uses of screenshots in our daily lives, a lot of screen capturing tools have lately sprung up. A lot of professionals embed screenshots in to their presentations or technical/sales document to improve its quality. Hence, sharing screenshots helps in saving a lot of time. Sometimes, designing technical diagrams, maps, flowcharts and graphs from scratch is a time-consuming and an arduous process. But, apart from some of its novel uses, screenshots are a great utility for working professionals as well. It helps curbing cyber crime to a great extent. We also find that a lot of victims of abuse on social media take screenshots of explicit messages as evidence. It is also a popular trend among social media marketers and users to resort to sharing screenshots with audiences or friends. It is because a general reader likes to understand the conceptual background about the subject before moving further to analyzing information. Especially, in step-by-step instructional tutorials and how-to guides, screenshots work wonders. Moreover, it has also been discovered that a lot of readers prefer screenshots over lengthy texts. A lot of content marketers and bloggers have realized that screenshots offer a simple way to communicate information to readers. Of course there are many options and functions in this software I haven’t covered but so far I’m really happy with it and would strongly recommend to anyone else looking for a better option than the Windows snipping tools that exist.Screenshots have revolutionized the process of conveying and consuming information. The image editor is great – it’s cut down to just what I need with a very easy to use obfuscation tool that makes screenshot editing quick and easy and removes those white boxes that to be honest I hate in favour of a blur which to me is much nicer and doesn’t pull your attention. The region selection option is great with a nice ‘target’ icon that gives you a zoomed view to help accurately select an area and once you have a screenshot you are presented with a menu of options dependent on your installation preferences of course.
