Before dying, Sally tells Lila that she must kill Leatherface or he will haunt her every single day. ![]() Sally appears to be dead but she survives long enough to fire a shot and save Lila’s life. He drives his chainsaw through her stomach and lifts her in the air. But Sally comes out shooting, cursing, and stabbing until Leatherface quickly gets the upper hand. He leaves her to ponder his thoughts because he has other people to kill. Sally is upset because she thinks he doesn’t remember her while she’s been thinking of him for five decades. She says the names of her friends and asks Leatherface if he remembers her, to which he says nothing because he doesn’t talk. She locks them in her vehicle and goes into the orphanage to track him down. In the final act of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Sally Hardesty arrives in Harlow to save Lila and Mel, who the only two people alive at this point. One of the victims has been skinned and posed to look sort of like Sally Hardesty did when Leatherface last saw her. She finally arrives to an earlier murder scene to discover a strange horror. Sally Hardesty spends a good chunk of the film driving to Harlow while Leatherface racks up the body count with a bus full of visitors. Netflix hasn’t announced Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, but we wouldn’t be surprised if they make another one.You feel like you know the journey that’s about to happen… but it does not go that way at all. This, of course, hints that there could be another entry. Given the new Netflix movie is a direct sequel to the original and ignores the rest of the movies in the franchise, it looks like Leatherface is going back home. It looks similar to the Sawyer family house from the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Though some might suspect it’s Sally’s house he’s planning to move into, it actually looks bigger than her place. Make sure to check it out! However, the very final scene before the credits proves otherwise, as Leatherface beheads Melody with his chainsaw. Sadly, he also kills Sally.īy the end of the movie, it looks like Melody and Lila are going to be the only two survivors, switching up the final girl trope. ![]() He kills Dante (Jacob Latimore), Dante’s girlfriend Ruth (Nell Hudson), and multiple people on a bus. He’s determined to murder everyone in the small town, and basically does so. With the movie’s short runtime of 83 minutes, it doesn’t take too long for Leatherface to start his killings, angry with the group of young adults for moving into his territory and indirectly harming his caretaker Virginia (Alice Krige). She survived a gun shot and, understandably, isn’t excited about making such a big move.
